Thirdly, and most importantly, my mother paid for immediate internment, which would not have happened again without the insistence of Eric Allen. Friday morning was a rainy day that turned cold and misty by 1 PM. Jessica assured us that a tent would be provided at the grave site in case of rain and that the grave would be ready for immediate internment. I expressly told Jessica not once but several times that my brother promised my mother he would not leave the cemetery before she was buried. Again, Jessica assured us that the grave would be opened, a tent would be in place in case of bad weather and an immediate burial would not be a problem. Because of the problems before the service Eric Allen checked to see that all was in order for her immediate burial. Thank God he did so or we would have gone to the grave site to find that the grave was not ready for my mother's burial. As it was, Jessica had to get cemetery workers to bring the lowering equipment to my mother's grave while he held the service, no tent was in place and the staff that had been promised to move my mother's body to the grave site was not at Eric Allen's disposal, so I had to get family members to do your staff's job.

I really wish I never agreed to lay my child to rest here cause they don't care bout nothing but the money I'll never lay to rest another person I love here they are rude disorganize overpriced and rude

My mother was buried there, we was told their gift to us was the laminated obituary and it would be mailed, But lady called all us kids to deliver Obituary, ONLY to try and sell us plot, What a bad way to do sells pitch! Mom buried on the 4 th Still haven't got them!

Because Jessica was in charge of my mother's burial, I will lay the blame at her feet. First, six chairs were set up for the 30 in attendance and no podium was provided for the pastor. Both the 30 chairs and podium were requested in advance, and Jessica assured me, my husband and my niece that it would not be a problem. And, just before the service began, while all were watching, Jessica provided a podium herself by carrying it, with the help of Eric Allen, from the Mosoleum to the cremation garden pavilion, hence giving the service a hurried, sloppy impression.

Respectfully,

Secondly, Jessica failed to let the office staff know that the funeral was being held at the pavilion and not by the grave site, so half of our family was sent to my mother's grave and half were at the pavilion. If it had not been for my niece's quick thinking to text a granddaughter and inquire where she was, my mother's brother and his entire family would have missed her funeral. As it was, Eric Allen, the director of Allen Funeral Home had to insist that Jessica go to the grave site and personally bring the family to the pavilion, which she was not happy about having to do.

Finally, I believe all this happened because Jessica did not take notes as to our wishes and because your staff was upset that we asked for a refund to be given for the monogramming of my mother's death date on her plate. We had to actually cancel the charge with our credit card company and have them flag our account to get your people to not submit a claim for payment. What I would like to know is what has happened to Flint Memorial Park? When I buried my father there twenty years ago, it was the cemetery to use to bury a loved one. Truthfully, I would not recommend your services to another loved one or anyone else for that matter.

My mother-in-law was buried there 1/2017. It was a cold and rainy day. She was cremated and we did not have a graveside service but all the immediate family was there which was about 14 people. All we were doing that morning was putting her ashes in the ground.

They drove over and put trenches on top of a loved one not happy

You asked for comments on how the service for my mother, Wyvana Packer, went on September 12, 2014. Jessica was the employee that we dealt with throughout the process of burying Mom. Let me begin with the only positive comment I can make. We enjoyed having Mom's service in the cremation pavilion. The garden was beautiful and, as you know, it is a brand new area provided to those who are having funeral services held at the cemetery.

Also, I was told by Thelma that she would mail me laminated obituary bookmarks within a week. Its been four weeks now and I still have not received them. I called last week and left a message and she still has not called me back. We, as a family, are very disappointed with the service we received from this cemetery and will probably not use them again. So sad.

We did not ask for a tent to be at the graveside but it would have been a very thoughtful thing for the cemetery to do for us. I was surprised there wasn't a tent there given the weather. When I asked why there wasn't a tent they told us they don't put tents up in the winter because of the snow. There was no snow at all on the ground. We stood there in the rain under a couple umbrellas while we had a short last family time with her getting wet. We all left wet and like they didn't care.
